Animal Themed Perpetual Calendar
A daily calendar routine is a quick and simple way to connect with your children/students each day. Adding this to your daily rhythm helps to ground students in the current season while working with numbers, days of the week, and weather concepts. The whimsical visual elements and nature-related theme make this set a great choice for Waldorf, Montessori, Charlotte Mason, and outdoor school classrooms. The characters in the set coordinate with the winter bird curriculum unit.
This set includes:
- Calendar Page
- 4 Season Tiles
- 12 Month Tiles
- 8 Weather Tiles
- 31 Number Tiles
I like to use paper calendars by printing the calendar and tiles out on watercolor paper and using poster putty to attach the tiles. They are easy to remove, and the watercolor paper does not get damaged. You could also use the calendar on a magnetic whiteboard or other magnetic surface and add magnets to the tiles. Another option would be laminating the calendar and tiles and using double-sided tape or poster putty to attach them.
